Is it coincidence
that prophesies from around the planet
from all different cultures inextricably link two events – 2012, End Of
World? The
six main prophecies are as follows:
1. There
have been three or four previous races and ages of humanity (depending
upon the
source you read). All of these have been destroyed in major
cataclysms. December 21.2012 marks the end of this age and it
will end in
major catastrophes such as Earthquakes.
2. For
half of the katun (20 year Mayan cycle) there will be food, for half
some
misfortunes. This katun brings the end of the "word of God." It is a
time of uniting for a cause.
3.
As
we
pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of
environmental destruction, social chaos, war and ongoing Earth changes.
4. The
Earth will undergo a magnetic field shift, reversing the polarity of
the
planet.
5. An
asteroid, comet, or an entire planet will collide with the Earth.
6.
As
the
earth and the sun align with the Galactic Center, (which happens every
26,000
years) it will cause global catastrophe through gravitational or
electro-magnetic disturbances.
The first comes from the Hopi
tribe of North America, the second from the Mayans of Central America. Both Gordon Michael
Scallion and Lori Toye of
America have been producing extremely similar maps of what America may
look
like as of 2012. Lori
Toye first
published her map back in 1989, Scallion published his in 1982.
Edgar Cayce, known as the
“Sleeping Prophet” gave over 14,000 prophetic readings in the first
half of the
20th century. While he never pinpointed 2012
specifically, he did
say,
| "Watch
New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of
the east coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the west
coast,
as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San
Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed
before
New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear. This
will be
another generation though, here; while the southern portions of
Carolina,
Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of
the
Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico." |
The ancient Egyptians believed
that their God Osiris, would again be resurrected at some future time,
(similar
to stories of the Second Coming of Christ of the Christians) and
according to
astrological calculations by at least one author, the time of this
resurrection
is 22:18:13
on December 21,
2012.
What about some scientific
foundation for all this worry? Is
there
some scientific basis that we can see and empirically measure, that
could
indicate massive changes on a planetary scale?
It is a fact that our Sun goes
through an 11 year solar cycle. In
that
11 year period, the Sun goes from a less active, calm period to a much
more
violent active period and back to calm.
December 2012 will be at the peak of the
next active period of the
Sun.
Sun spot activity is just the
visible aspect of this active period.
With the sun spots there is also an
increase in Coronal Mass Ejection,
where the Sun literally erupts whole parts of itself into space. If that CME happens to be
in the direction of
Earth, it can fry every satellite in orbit, and cause power outages on
a global
scale.
Fortunately,
we have our
atmosphere and magnetic field to protect us from the deadly assaults
from the
Sun.
